Not collectively, not for any particular game and not for any of the OTHER super Marios out there who are sports stars -- Mario Williams, Mario Henderson, Mario Lanza, etc. Nope, this guy is Mario Baillargeon, he's Canadian, and he just won -- not ran in but won -- his seven thousandth harness race.
(Passing on what I just learned about harness racing: it looks like but is not chariot racing, the "chariot" is called a sulkie, and considering that Baillargeon is only 35, he basically had to win a race a day for the last 20 years. Oh, and he's not a jockey but a driver, of a vehicle that has exactly one horsepower.)
Cheers and bonne chance for Baillargeon on his next goal, winning $100 million in prize money. He's already at $80 million, which is probably making everyone out there at home who have two times won a free Subway sandwich feel like they're just flushing their life away.
